Nicholas and Holly first discovered Maison La Belle Vie on a visit from Denver to Palisade—and from that very first moment, the estate’s atmosphere, beauty, and wines felt unmistakably special. They joined the Wine Society, returning every few months for their allocations, and with each visit the connection deepened—until it became clear this was more than a favorite getaway. It was home.
In 2021, they made the leap and acquired the property, stepping into stewardship of a place they already loved. The 4.5-acre vineyard, planted in 2004, features several varietals, including Muscat and Marechal Foch—the two wines that anchor Maison’s estate-grown offerings. Beyond the vineyard, Maison La Belle Vie showcases a refined portfolio of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Rosé, and signature blends, along with the beloved Vin de Pêche—a storied family recipe from the original owners, passed down through generations since the 1800s.
A recent addition completes the experience: a handcrafted walnut, port-style wine, patiently made and irresistibly delicious—an elegant, unforgettable finish to the Maison story in every glass.
